The Tao Foundation

Making The World A Better Place By

Supporting Various Pillars of Society Each Year

Our Mission

The Tao Foundation was founded by Jing Tao to give back to those in need. Every year, Jing selects four “pillars” (causes) to support that are experiencing exceptional hardships. These pillars fall under four primary categories: Health, Community, Children, & Animals. We are proud to team up with our worldwide partners to provide funding and awareness of these various causes.

Pillars for 2024

Health

Chronic medical conditions such as Lupus can be debilitating to an individual’s college endeavour. We provide scholarships to individuals stricken by this disease to help with the financial burden of college attendance. Click here to read more.

Community

With sharp decreases from city, county, and state budgets due to COVID-19, we want to ensure our first responders have the necessary equipment to complete their jobs quickly and effectively.  Click here to read more.

Children

Annually, at least 1 million children are declared missing worldwide. In addition, 1-in-6 of these children are forced into the sex trade. We support the recovery specialists working to reunite these children with their guardians. Click here to read more.

Animals

Unfortunately, there are more domesticated animals in the world than households willing to accept them. Dogs are especially an issue with an estimated 34% of dogs procured through breeders versus rescuing. Click here to read more.

Board of Trustees

The Tao Foundation Board of Trustees consists of representatives from different walks of life to ensure the most unbiased support is able to be provided when and where it is needed the most.  Our talented Board is committed to responsible governance and to fulfillment of our mission.
